  1. This is a really good movie. It is more a B-movie than an A, but it did keep me wondering thru most of it. I believe B-movies sacrifice depth of plot and characters for the budget, but ‘Death in the Air’ carried it off very well. Thank you for letting me see this fine film.

  2. Thanks for showing this great old movie. I will watch all you have.

  3. Good movie – kept moving right along. (some old movies get bogged down in too much talk). Those old bi-planes were amazing.

    A good old B&W movie.
    Thank you.

  5. Didn’t think there would be much to this movie. I was prepared to bail out but
it turned out to be quit exciting with
some very good aerial photography. See it and you will be an enthusiast. Highly recomended,

  6. I did not see this movie the same way my fellow black and white movie fans seen it I realize it’s a B movie but in this case B is definitely for bad.the acting was just terrible.I will say some of the aerial shots were quite good.but hey. That’s just my opinion and as anyone can see out numbered.good or bad thou thanks as always

I was totally clueless about the identity of Pilot X. For a while I thought perhaps it was the butler! Always great to watch the old bi-planes maneuvering through the skies, though. Thanks for showing this movie of the days gone by of aviation. Bi-planes were pretty much a thing of the past when I was growing up but I do remember in the late thirties and early forties the mailplanes flying over the house at night guided by beacons. I suppose they were monoplanes.
