Well, sir, if I had seen this on the big screen as a kid in the 1940s I would have been afraid to go to bed for months. There are no zombies that can compete with those in black and white from the 1930s. I (shudder) will never forget the fear as I watched “I Walked with a Zombie” in the darkened theater in Kent, Ohio.
